What is the best Landing Page Builder?
Building a landing page that works and converts is kinda difficult, right? You have to hire an expensive designer and pay a bunch of money…sound about right?
I’ve heard of marketers paying anywhere from $5000 to $10,000 for a landing page that’s professionally done.
But that was probably a little over 6 years ago….or something like that.
Now, design is seriously mainstream and you have all types of tools that can help you build an awesome professional landing page without needing to know any code at all.
Were going to show you the top 3 but they will all fit perfectly for different levels of online marketing.
You ready? OK, let’s do it!
The first tool we’ll review is Instapage. It’s a super strong and fast landing page builder with a massive amount of helpful integrations and optimization features.
In our Instapage review below, we’ll give you a hands-on look at exactly how Instapage works and delve into the question of whether or not it’s the right tool for you.
What does Instapage do? Check out the feature list
Don’t worry – I’m going to show you how this all actually works in the next section. But I think it’s helpful to frame the more hands-on part of our Instapage review with a quick look at the feature list so you know what to expect.
You already know that Instapage is a landing page builder. But check out all the power you have to simply use to crush it:
- Drag and drop page builder – It’s not grid-based like WordPress page builders. You’re free to drag and drop each element exactly where you want it. This is super cool – keep reading to see it in action.
- Widgets – Widgets let you insert elements like CTA buttons, countdown timers, and more.
- 200+ customizable templates – These help if you don’t want to start from a blank slate.
- Direct access to 33 million Bigstock images – It’s easy to insert professional stock images, though you have to purchase each image separately.
- Detailed form builder and asset delivery – Easily create all types of forms, including multi-step forms. Then, connect to a huge number of integrations. Instapage can even handle automatically delivering assets like lead magnets.
- Helpful analytics – Heatmaps, A/B testing, Google Tag Manager, and more.
- Collaboration tools – Instapage brands itself as a platform for “marketing teams & agencies”, which results in a number of helpful tools for collaboration. For example, you can leave comments on specific parts of a landing page design draft.
- Instablocks – Save specific landing page sections to reuse across designs, or choose from Instapage’s pre-built sections.
- AMP Support – Design Google AMP landing pages using the same drag and drop interface.
- Detailed attribution data – Beyond analytics, Instapage can connect to Google AdWords and other services to integrate attribution data like AdWords campaigns or price data.
That’s definitely not a full feature list – but it’s a great look at the highlights.Try Instapage Free
Or head on over to our post which is more detailed and just about Instapage.
Why not just use a WordPress page builder?
Ok, as you read the feature list above, you might be wondering this:
Why use Instapage over your favorite WordPress page builder Elementor?
I got you – it’s fantastic question for sure!
Were actually using the world’s most popular CMS or (content management system) WordPress!
But let me tell you folks Instapage still has a nice amount of things going for it that kill a page builder.
First, it’s 100% dedicated to landing pages. Many WordPress page builders include some landing page templates, but it’s not their only focus.
Instapage has over 200+ templates, and all of the widgets are geared towards landing pages.
Second, Instapage is definitely more focused on analytics and optimization. You get A/B testing, heatmaps, analytics, easy Google Tag Manager inclusion (which we really love), and lots more.
Most page builders don’t offer any of those features.
So if you’re focused on analytics, you will definitely appreciate those extra options ( you’ll pay more for them….but hey you get what you pay for).
Third, you can manage landing pages for multiple websites from one Instapage account, which is helpful if you run a number of sites for yourself or clients.
Finally, Instapage can handle hosting both your landing pages and any digital assets (like lead magnets) that you want to deliver. While you can do that with WordPress, it’s definitely not as easy.
If your looking for a landing page creator that is very easy to use and gives you professional results this is the tool you want to be using.
Plus It integrates very easily with WordPress & Getresponse which are best in their class as well.
Is Clickfunnels any good?
If you’re in touch with the world of digital marketing, you’ve probably at least heard of ClickFunnels, the landing page builder that’s pioneering online sales funnels.
In this Landing page review post, we go deep into the good and bad to determine if ClickFunnels is a legitimate business marketing software worth trying, or just overhyped.
Well we don’t mean to jump the gun.
But we’re just going to say that we believe in this product so much, that we decided to create a bonus package just for anybody who invests in Clickfunnels thru our link. Click Here To Learn more.
ClickFunnels has made a pretty big name for itself since it started, becoming one of the largest marketing SaaS (Software as a Service) companies around. I suppose it’s no surprise people love ClickFunnels since it’s all about making its users money.
More specifically, it’s about giving businesses software that helps them turn their site visitors into customers. It’s no wonder ClickFunnels has grown so much in such a short period of time.
There is no denying it’s popular, but does that mean it’s actually worth the investment? How much can we trust the crowd on this one?
It might just seem like it’s just another website and/or landing page builder.
What makes Clickfunnels Different?
So what sets it apart and should you add it to your marketing stack?
In this ClickFunnels vs Instapage vs Leadpages review, I’ll go through the gist of ClickFunnels — what it is, the positives and the negatives, the features, customer service, and so on.
Were basing this review on our own experience using ClickFunnels’ StartUp plan, which comes with the core ClickFunnels features and a massive amount of other bells and whistles.
I’ll also give a nod towards other reviews I’ve seen, as not every user will agree with me on the final verdict.
Regardless of whether you choose to use it or not, it’s an important player anyone in e-commerce and online marketing should be familiar with.
Before you jump in, what’s our rating? We’ll put it at a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. With some drawbacks, it’s definitely great.

What is ClickFunnels?
ClickFunnels started back in 2014, but in just three years it’s been, in the words of Forbes, “silently revolutionizing the online marketing industry.”
Here’s the gist of ClickFunnels: It makes it easier for businesses and entrepreneurs to sell stuff online using otherwise complicated marketing technology, called sales funnels (more on those in a second).
The founder of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson, is almost as known as his creation, and for good reason.
He’s made a fortune, not only from ClickFunnels, but other marketing adventures. He played around with email marketing for a while, and eventually began to master sales funnels.
Russell Brunson is the bestselling author of DotCom Secrets and Expert Secrets, two books that his fans rave about and that guide people through his marketing methodologies.
You can pick up Dotcom Secrets on Amazon here (with over 900 reviews). Or check out Expert Secrets from Amazon here.
ClickFunnels started out as a way to help Brunson and his team create funnels more quickly for different ventures, because developing funnels was taking them a lot of time…usually weeks.
Or longer!
However, they soon realized their creation would be useful to others and had great potential as a product.

What Are Funnels? How Sales Funnels Work
Before continuing with this ClickFunnels Review, let’s give you a clearer idea of just what a marketing funnel is.
We want you to be on point!
In marketing, it’s a process that takes people who don’t know you and turns them into customers, aka a marketing funnel.
In e-commerce, a sales funnel is a series of steps designed to guide a website visitor to the checkout page.
There’s a less boring way of thinking about it. Step 1: Imagine a funnel. Step 2: Imagine this funnel is in fact a metaphor, and instead of actual ingredients to pour down the funnel, you have metaphorical ingredients you call web traffic or site visitors.
Your site visitors are looking around, checking things out. Your website is beautifully designed, and your content is top notch!
Unfortunately, that still doesn’t turn many of your visitors into customers.
In a brick and mortar shop, that’s like people walking into your shop but not knowing where the cash register is, so they leave the store without buying anything.
In a physical store, you can talk your customers into buying something. In a digital shop, you may be a little more distant from your visitors.
This is where your funnel comes in—it’s designed to appeal to your customers’ through principles of psychology. The funnel works step-by-step, bringing traffic in closer and closer until visitors end up at a payment page.
If you think this sounds cool, you’re right—it’s become a huge deal for online marketing. Russell Brunson didn’t just get filthy rich by selling ClickFunnels technology, but by using it too.
Pros – ClickFunnels Review
I’ve got some good news: ClickFunnels does its job!
ClickFunnels is intended to save you time and energy—to do what otherwise requires a lot of technological skill and/or an bunch of third party applications. In this area, ClickFunnels succeeds.
Makes You Money
One of the best things about ClickFunnels is its focus on making money for the user. They make it very easy to make your account, put up your content, and start taking payments.
Plus, it’s super easy to pick everything up—it’ll probably take you a couple hours to figure out most of what you need, tops.
Drag and Drop Builder
Quite a few features are very useful here. We like how easy it is to duplicate pages, and the fact We can save templates to be used again later.
Their page builder is a pretty important feature, and they’ve pulled it off well. Once you get used to it, it’s an easy to use drag and drop builder.
A/B testing
Built in A/B testing is great too. All you have to do is duplicate a page, make your changes, and choose the amounts of your traffic you want to see version A or B.
Great selection of Integrations
I think ClickFunnels handles API integrations pretty well. Email autoresponders and payment processors aren’t too much of a sweat—they work reliably and are easy to manage.
WordPress Plugin
You’ll also find a handy WordPress plugin that lets you add ClickFunnels pages to your WordPress website.
It saves a lot of time and is much less of a hassle than working between ClickFunnels and WordPress without a plugin.
The Clickfunnels WordPress plugin is also rated a solid 4.4 stars in the WordPress plugin repository, with over 20,000 active installations.
All in one
Overall, it’s great to have things so centralized: I can build my landing pages, create forms and order forms, and trigger emails all from one platform.
All of this really does save you time and money, resources you’d otherwise need to spend on developers, CSS, hosting configurations, and so on.
Reasonable Value
You can rest assured the lower-tiered account is a good investment—what you’re allowed for a StartUp account is pretty decent. If you have more than 20,000 visitors and need over 100 pages, the full suite might not be too much to ask.
ClickFunnels is not 100% perfect (nothing is), but it does a very awesome job of packaging great tools together and making them accessible. It definitely saves most users the serious headache they’d have if they tried to manage funnels any other way.
What is the best Clickfunnels Alternative? What about Leadpages?

LeadPages works best to serve people after they’ve found you which means your website, blog page, or social media profiles need to be set up, and you need to be on people’s radars.

Building an e-mail list is just the beginning. It is essential to have a plan for what your e-mail list purpose is, how you are going to market your products and services, and where you want it to go in the future.
If you don’t have a plan in place, you will want to complete one before you sign up for LeadPages.

The best way to make sure LeadPages is excellent for you is to use it to its full potential. If you aren’t quite ready to rapidly grow or need to do a little more planning to get prepared, it may be wise to wait to start until you’re ready.
But on the other hand, the tool is so inexpensive that it will pay for itself by just experimenting with it and learning how to use it. Every business should be building a database.
Either to reward past clients with coupons or loyalty rewards or just to plain follow up.
